East Neuk Cottage Findhorn Details

East Neuk is a holiday /vacation cottage available for rent in Findhorn, Morayshire.  The cottage was substantially rebuilt and extended in 2012/13 and has been renovated again in 2021.  It retains its traditional charm; is finished to a high standard; has oil fired central heating; and is decorated in a contemporary fashion.  The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. 

Unlimited wifi is provided free of charge.

For the convenience of parents the owner has provided a high chair, travel cot, buggy and other items for young children. 

The accomodation comprises:

Ground floor:

Large, full height, dining kitchen, flooded with light from patio doors and velux windows, with table to sit 6 guests.  There is a dishwsher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.  The kitchen is fully equipped with good quality crockery, cutlery etc.

Living room with coal fire for use in winter, comfortable sofa and fireside chairs, upright piano, reading/study alcove with desk and speaker system compatible with Apple and other MP3 devices. There is a TV with DVD player and Apple TV box for streaming. 

Luxurious bathroom with large shower enclosure, bath, basin and wc entered from hallway and master bedroom.

Double bedroom with direct access to bathrom. 

Conservatory with seating and a table.  This is a favourite place to sit in the summer as it can be beautifully warm and bright.  It can also be used as a playroom and a selection of children's toys, books and games are provided.

Outside:

Patio area with with table and chairs and access to the communal grassy lane which is often used for BBQs or childrens' paddling pool.

There is unreserved parking for one vehicle immediately outside the cottage gate. Any other vehicles can be parked on the road. 

In the winter months enough kindling and newspapers will be provided for the first fire only. Coal is stored in a bunker on the patio and is charged at £2.50 per bucket.
